Himalayan Park

Himalayan Monal

Himalayan Monal

It is a unique landscape with stunning sites of the Himalayas in the north-western part of India, located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. We need to be tough to walk up the alpine meadows and valley after valley laden with virgin forest, largely undisturbed. The Himalayan Blue Sheep and Himalayan Tahr can be observed along the bird watching trails. The rare Musk Deer can also be located. It is also the habitat of the elusive Snow Leopard.

Pheasants : The park is a paradise for Himalayan Pheasants with nearly 300 bird species recorded. The butterflies are in abundance.

Sainge Valley Tirthan Valley, Gushani, Shilt, Jiwa Nullah, Parvati river are the popular trails to embrace this vast hilly terrain, characteristically moist. Let us fork out a week in this region to include Shimla as well.
